Ok, SOMEBODY give me a hint with these Spool springs ...

well i have the "Stinger" on my car
one finger in the front 2 in the rear. i put about 200 pounds worth of stuff that scratched my speaker box up and it dropped the rear about .5 inches. wow
lol
but it looks pretty nice, i guess it will be fine, because i dont feel like taking them back out to tell you the truth. when i get some 18"s or 19"s im sure i will hardly notice lol!

I ended up taking them to Midas to get the rears seated. I took them off, and gave them the struts and the Spool springs and told them to have at it.

It cost me $60, but they're all on! I'll take some after pics and post the comparison ones (complete with a ruler so you can see the drop).



Mine looks pretty high in the back still, too, but I'll fill it up tonight and maybe load some stuff in the back. Plus I'll just sit my fat ass in it for a few hours and that'll make it settle.

So lets say I bought a new pair of these springs. Rather than trying to mess with everything myself, could I just take my car and the box to midas and have them put the dam things on for $60?

The new sets will mount just fine. And Midas will not do the entire install for $60. I'm pretty sure that price was just to mount the two rear springs on the struts.

The $60 was for JUST mounting the springs. I removed the struts from my car, removed the springs, and they just put the new springs on. I had to reinstall the struts on the car.

No, not JUST Msp owners ... I have a high rear too ... still hoping and praying they settle more, but I doubt they will ever look "gas station'ish"
