Ok, SOMEBODY give me a hint with these Spool springs ...

Thanks for the advertisement :D

People do get Ground Controls. Generally they're noisy (clunking), unpredictable handling, choppy ride, and kill struts quickly.

Hey Nate, did you get yours installed, or is that pic in your sig the photochopped one of how you want your car to look...

lol it's photochopped

UPS man hasn't knocked on my door yet, but they should arrive today

Sweet!! I should have mine by tomorrow or Thursday then. I was worried They wouldn't get here by the weekend. Glad you guys are getting them though:)

I'm gonna try to put these on Thursday. If anyone does theirs before then, let me know how it goes so I'll know what to expect! Otherwise, wish me luck :)

Whoohoo! Came back to my desk from a meeting and lo and behold, there were my springs! Thanks Terry.

Yeah, now I'm getting pissed...I didn't bother calling Terry, figuring if the springs were sent out, it didn't matter...They would be at my door by Wednesday or Thursday at the latest...Well, it's Friday, and I've got no springs!!! :wtf:???

Glad to see ya guys are finally getting these springs.
If any of you first ten did not get these springs and did not get a tracking number email me and I can respond with your tracking #
I also will be recieving the other 5 sets of rears hopefully this week and I will send them asap.
Thanks
Terry

Okay, I got my springs and installed them tonight...Same as a few others already said, these look exactly like the ones I just took off. Yeah, these are designed the right way now, but the drop in the rear is still almost stock height. I loaded it full of crap and drove around for a long time. No luck yet. It settled less than 1/4 of an inch. We'll see if we can get some more out of it tomorrow...

and i still dont have my ******* rear springs yet, even if theyare the same damn height

i ordered springs over three months and i still cant put them on

SPOOLIN wheere are you!!!

man some people don't have any patience. Were you one of the first 10 that he said would be recieving theirs first? If not you're probably one of the last five like me and he hasn't started shipping them out yet. They will be here.

dude, no joke at all, put the fronts in and leave the stock rear springs if you have the MSP.

i SWEAR my stock rears were lower than these - at the very worst they were the same height.

and he said these springs dont need to settle, so this is as low and they're gonna go.....

anyone have pics of eibachs?

:)

It seems that everyone talking about the springs not being as low as they thought they'd be are MSP owners. Should I assume that the drop will be more dramatic on my P5 since it is taller to begin with?

Yes that would make sense. Don't forget that P5s also have struts that aren't quite as stiff. This may also make a difference.

yes I have noticed that also. my P5 is lower than these MSPs' I have seen in this thread. My rear fender is about 2 inches above the tires, but my rear fenders have a lower point I think than sedans'. I really look at the body molding as a way of telling how low a vehicle is front/to back. My body molding goes uphill but my fenders in the rear tend to make the car look more level. I have planned now for a few weeks to take my rear spools out and cut one coil out of the top dead coils and re-install them. I keep putting if off for work and family reasons ( also don't feel like messin with the end-links) but one day I am going to do it. I only need about another .5 to .75 in the rear to make it look nice to me:D so eventually I will get around to doing it. I know if I were an MSP owner and had not installed my new rear spools, I would cut them before i installed them.....just a thought. Later on guys, be interesting to see how all this works out:)
