Ok, SOMEBODY give me a hint with these Spool springs ...

Ok, Monday was yesterday. Any updates? Did you ship out the rears? Which 10 of your customers are you shipping to? Keep us in the loop. Thanks.

i need an alignment REALLY bad and have been putting it off cuz im waiting for my new springs to be on before i get one. I cant wait much longer.....hope these springs get here this week

I just put new tires on my car last week, and I need an alignment as well. I've been waiting for the springs before the alignment, but I don't want to screw up my tires.

The springs are in!
I will try to get some out tommorow.

I just talked to Terry on the phone and he sent out the first round of replacements today (I think he said 13 sets) and said the rest should be in within a week. He said he was going to post on here so I'll let him fill in the details.

He gave me a tracking number but it didn't work (may not be in the system yet.)

Has anybody recieved their springs yet?? I'm on the West Coast, so I'll probably be the last to get them:(

Mine were departure scanned in Richmond VA this morning

Call him at the shop, and he should give you a tracking number

This is true, took mine at least a month to settle. I had left my car loaded with heavy stuff for about a week and this helped.

how long did you leave your car loaded with stuff, my back is still too high and they have been on for about 3 months.

here is a pic takin two days ago.

not the best pic, but it is noticibly to high in the back. Maybe if the new ones sit lower i will have to get just a set of rears.

I want to see a pic from the side of your car Paul...How big is the gap in the rear?? It's hard to tell from that high of an angle...but it doesn't look nearly as bad as mine.

paul......i only left stuff in my trunk for about 3 days, then aligned the car. My P5 does not seem to be quite as high as yours, but I have had mine off for about 7 months and they have been slowly...slowly settling. when my work slows down I plan on taking the rear springs off and taking a coil out of the top dead coils and reinstalling. just have never been satisfied with the rear drop.

is the rear drop equal to the current ride height in the MSP?

cuz if the back doesnt drop at all until it settles i wont miss it, as long as they arent higher than stock

they are definitly lower than stock, but not as much as the fronts.

Tell me how cutting a coil off works, i like the idea, but i think it might be to much, and i dont want to mess with the handling.

hey guys, none of these pics in this thread seem to be working, can someone post pics of the ones my new ones i just got are supposed to be replacing?

the long ones right?

Why doesn't anybody get Ground Control coilovers. They use a threaded perch which goes around your strut, which can be raised or lowered (also corner-weighted) to your liking. Plus they use Eibachs.
