Oil pump

Does anyone know how the oil pump for our cars work? I believe there is a valve of some sort that is stuck in mine that wont let the oil pass through the block. But before I beat on it I wanted to know if anyone knew exactally how it worked.

you should!!! im currently running his system and love it!!! make me feel good to know my car wont spin a bearing cause of the oil pump

Yea cant wait to install mine as soon as I get my motor from the shop. I have all the parts ready.

the only pain in the ass was makin the oil lines.. puttin the fittings on and ect... but other than that its really easy.. wher did u tap for the return?

nice.... i had mine tapped in the oil pan..

im just having my mbsp tapped with the fitting. its a low pressure crankcase. cheaper to tap then weld. im already spending 1280 for machining and assembly. darkangel, did you get your rotating assembly and flywheel balanced?
