Oil change intervals

I have had to add oil a couple times to my engine over her life. There was once I was down about 1/2 qt and another time I was down about 1/3 qt. I try to check the oil every month +,- and always before going on a long trip.

I use the reqular mobil 1 5w-30 and used the amsoil 5w-30 a couple times last year, too. It's all good stuff......

LOL Thank GOD i never had to deal with older chryslers. The newer once seem nice which is probably due to Friendly Benz help :D
Actually, I see even the newer trucks and cars burn oil. I'm talking like the ones built around 1998. Maybe it's different with even newer cars, but it's strange that they couldn't figure it out for this long.

haha yeah... but i think it'll be worth the read if one really wants a definite answer on whats good (or better) as far as oil goes

Werd. I've had that e-book for a while. I learned a lot from it.

even my protege doesn't burn oil... 1991 protege man.
I change oil every 5000km, its still fulll when I change it
I have a lot of respect for older cars that are still running strong. I would keep it as long as you can. New cars are overrated.
