Oil Change 1500 Miles Dealer (bogus)

I changed the oil at 1500 miles to remove break in particles. Im now at 3000 and my oil is pretty dark. I checked it not to long after I had it changed and it was pretty dark. I know the color doesnt matter much, its the viscosity, I swear they didnt change it. I know alot of mechanics get paid by job and since my car was so new with very low miles they probably didnt change it. Even the service guy was like "Its kind of early, you sure you want it changed. Anybody have a good idea on how to prevent this. I feel like if I ask for the filter they will give me someone elses. I really hate getting screwed.Especially by the dealer when Im paying to prevent problems they might have to fix.

Ya they probably didn't change it...I did the same thing at 1k km's and they gave me the same reaction. I checked in the parking lot though and the oil looked newer.

I guess the way to prevent this is either you get the oil changed somewhere else and keep the bills or test your dealer by jacking up the car and right something on your oil filter with a marker.
