I could get it towed, but there's a certain someone (coughfathercough) who would not be too pleased to have something that doesn't run in his driveway, second... i think its virginia law to have insurance on a car, even if it doesnt run, third, PM me what parts you're interested in, and i'll see what i can work out with a couple of people here for a place for me to dismantle it... I would love to give you guys all parts that you need but like i said, place to dismantle it... i dont want anyone else to dismantle it but me... so that might pose a problem rob

Oooooh. I didn't realize location would matter, for where you put the car. Hmm. Maybe you could try talking to your father -- see if you can work out a deal, that you can let the car sit somewhere more 'private' (like a back patio or somesuch, if you have one) for an agreed-upon amount of time.

just go get your parts off of it. aftermarket stuff is all yours. it has nothing to do with the car. its totaled. go get your stuff

I've heard from a friend who works in the collision center the car is at, and she says it looks to be totalled but she hasnt gotten to the car yet...

Now the problem is, if I buy it back to part it out, How the hell am I going to do all that? Since I have no way of transporting it someplace else, and my insurance also comes into play, if i still have to have it in my policy, where to take it, to take it apart... etc etc etc...

sadly no aftermarket on the car, baby was bonestock. all i added was a sirius and dave b rings, as far as your PM goes Damian, you'll have to wait till I get the Okay from the insurance company, but other people seem to be offering for the parts you're asking for too

k the bodyshop says 120% threshold damage, visually parts come to 12k, more if they took stuff off to get a good look inside.
