2008 MS3 GT Cosmic Blue....3 days old with 1300 miles on it already (eekdance)
I had the dealer install the MS CAI and since my brother works at Mazda, I got the car fully loaded with the glass etching and a six year warranty for $25k even. (bird)

It's finally here...
Picked my 2008 GT Silver, with Nav and Homelink with all weather mats and luggage net, on Friday. So far I've put about 200 miles on it. The amount of torque and kick this thing has takes me surprise everytime I hammer the accelerator. Compared to my 04 Mz3 it's a different animal. The funny thing is that I don't even feel any torque steer or the limiting in 1st and 2nd gear. The "WOOOMFFF" that comes when you hit the accelerator is addictive. I'm not beating it up too much until I pass the 600 mile break-in period.
Mazda also did a bang-up job improving the quality of materials and structural rigidity. This thing feels like a solid block of steel and the noise levels (even with the agressive exhaust) is a helluva lot lower than my 04 Mz3.
Nav is also an improvement. Much faster processor calculates directions. The only thing I'm trying to figure out is how to program "Home" under Destinations. The option is always dimmed. I laso love the Homelink Mirror
I had the dealer change out the stock Bridgestones with Pirelli P-Zero Nero all seasons in the same size. So far the Pirellis seem like a good compromise.
The only downside seems to be that it's slightly out of alignment. I'll have the dealer take a look at it when I go back in for my inspection sticker.
I'll take some better pictures at some point. My wife's car was in the way so I couldn't get a good side angle.

I looked at all the threads and i didn't find anyone in New York. lol i'm tired now. I've seen 4 MS3 the hole time i've been driving this car. 1 black, 1 cosmic blue, 2 reds with one having black lavels and a MPS sign on it. The black on goes to my school. (farmingdale state Uni.)

Mazda kicked off a user-generated-contest with Facebook on 9/20. The contest focuses on design.
College grads describe a hypothetical 2018 Mazda concept car with words or sketches. The top 5 get to
develop their concepts with the Mazda design team, and the winners design will be unveiled live at
the 2007 LA International Auto Show.
