I cant decide which exhaust system I should get, I've read most of this thread and don't know which one to get. I was thinking racing beat at first, but I hear its quite, now I'm thinking megan racing or magnaflow. Ive also read the that GReddy EVO 2 is pretty sweet as well. Any thoughts?? Thanks.

Megan racing and Greddy will sound very similar, get one of those, you'll be happy.

update, since last time, I added high flow cat, the only part I have left to do is the piece between header and cat. (everything else is 2.25'' s/s)

is it worth it to get the stainless sls midpipe or alumanized? i heard it doesnt matter because the stainless will rust regardless due to the heat. is this true?

OK... so i reallly dont like thise video.. ive come to realzie.. doesnt give the full sound... its also only has about 30 miles on it.. so it prob needs to break in...but its not that bad at all!!

Dude I know, I get the "are you boosting" question so much cause the intake is loud when the car shuts off. Are all proteges like that is mine just special? (evil)

Finally got a catback exhaust and intake for my car!!
Its a obx catback exhaust along with a aem intake
love the sound and felt the gains on the butt dyno
now when some1 revs up at me with a fart can, i can revv bak with a much aggressive tone!!!!

js I think you were asking for some videos of my exhaust a few months ago. This is my first time recording but the video sounds a lot louder. In person my exhaust is very bassy. lol how far away from the car are most of you guys recording?

I love my Greddy SP2!! i wouldnt get rid of it for anythign very boomy and low on take off. When you get upto cruising speed you can talk over it fairly easy.

Yeah i love the sound on takeoff! Theres this VERY low growl when i give it gas until i hit about 2k. My racingbeat I sold never sounded like this. With the mp3 ecu I noticed the tone is a little lower. Even my brother said my car sounded meaner than his mp3.

Slap a turbo on it and i bet you it will get even lower!

Ehhh i dunno... Im too worried about blowing the engine/tranny to do it. Heel-toe downshifting through the twisties is fun stuff. Can you even do that safely with turbo?

I don't see why not but then again I don't beat of my MSP with my shifting issues in the trans... still working those out.
