js I think you were asking for some videos of my exhaust a few months ago. This is my first time recording but the video sounds a lot louder. In person my exhaust is very bassy. lol how far away from the car are most of you guys recording?

haha yea i was, i was planin to get the greddy sp2 but then i found this obx catback for $250!! and i also got a aem intake for $25. but at least u finally got a vid up!!!

the only time i have seen that is on a v6+ car. I highly doubt its worth the trouble of fabricating one when our cars arent that fast

And nope i have never seen one. Not even in pictures

One dude in Germany has a dual exhaust on his red protege, looks pretty nice actually.

i have seen a couple... on cars in germany. different rear bumpers.

looks nice though.

expensive, and exclusive. im sure an exhaust shop could figure something out.

heck, the 1st gen mazda6 with the 2.3 has dual exhaust.

I need a dual setup now. but with round tips. lol Im doing a custom 2.5" exhaust soon.....magnaflow high flow cat - magnaflow resonator- MS3 muffler with tip removed and re aligned.

Right now I have thunder header ---> SLS catless midpipe ---> thermal catback

I want to change it though.

Would the corksport exhaust eliminate the need for my SLS midpipe? If so, why is there no flex pipe

Yes, the CS exhaust is a header back exhaust so it will eliminate the mid-pipe. Not sure what you mean by "flex pipe"

Anything I've seen with Corksport they assume stiff motor mounts so they don't put flex sections ie the mazdaspeed downpipe.

I've got the AWR front mount but pretty sure my other mounts are thrashed. Been wanting to take the car to speed shop and have them do the others with a filler

oh but then again the exhaust system comes with corksport motor mounts, I just fear the installation

Yeah haha I snapped my corksport downpipe because I still need my rear mount done.

i have the magnaflow exhaust in my setup with headers and intake....sounds amazing, but has an annoying ass drone on the highway :-/

I heard some mod gives you better high end but worse low end, is that header or catback? I can't remember...

Header improves top end but robs a bit of low end. UDP gives it back.

So does catback exhaust (Racing Beat especially) rob low end at all?

Thinking of buying one, so trying to weight the trade-off. (If there is any other than $$)

^^^^^Not thinkin so. The catback was done first on mine. Didn't notice any low end loss. The UDP was done next, then header & then hi flo flex fitted catted midpipe. All I noticed was faster revs, more top end & better sound.
