Official Exhaust Thread

You still talking about backpressure? LOL
If you want a lesson on back pressure stuff a potato in your tailpipe and run a pencil through it to make a hole...

Then drill a hole just upstream in the exhaust and wire up an ignitor and WHAMMO! Potato gun!!! LOL! Do it.

Curious question about the stock exhaust that came with the car. Is everything behind the catalytic converter one piece?

I replaced the CC last summer/autumn. The muffler looks great, but the pipe is pretty rusty.

Alright, finally getting around to posting a vid.

It's my Pro5 with an Injen SRI, OBX header, and Magnaflow catback.

I am removing the header and I'll get another vid clip of the magnaflow with stock header later this week hopefully

sounds goood
dude. you have the 4-1 headers right?
how was the fitment? ne problems?
and does anyone know where to get the OBX 4-2-1 headers or any 4-2-1's?

this should be stickied, and i should be given the honorary title of "official exhaust thread starter* in flashing colors.

YUP, 4-1. Fitment was not an issue at all. EGR pipe lined up perfectly, lined up perfectly on the head as well as at the midpipe.

I did just remove it though due to the frequencey of the drone at highway speeds when combined with the magnaflow. The tone it hit was just right to give my wife a headache, so, i am stock again.

Another problem i had with the OBX is if your rear motor mount is wearing or worn, REPLACE IT!! Cause, with the stock header/cat setup, there is a bracket that is holding the precat in place. The OBX does not have that so it rattles the entire exhaust setup. If you've got a new good motor mount, it shouldn't be an issue
