Yup, that's the magnaflow catback for the pro5. I love mine. I'm wanting to get a header now to really let the thing make some noise.

I'm running Corksport exhaust hangers though, so it tucked it under nicer

Here it was with stock hangers

And as it set now with the Corksports

Kinda hard to tell from that pic, but, it did tuck it up a little closer to the bumper

here is my custom exhaust set up. this might be some help to people in the future if they are considering the same set up. its a expensive set up but sounds amazing.

sls midpipe high flow cat
megan racing resonator and piping
hks axleback.

people always complain about how much the hks exhaust is, but it really is quite worth they money. the muffler alone is around 200 to 250. and the catbacks that hks sell go for around 700 dollars. i only got this thing for 309 and the quality is out standing, not to mention you get the true hks sound!

heeheehee, after getting the miata mostly back together over the winter, I fired it up with the garage door open (but in a concrete garage) with an open header. At 10:30pm. It was... uh... loud.

Get a Simota CAI from Protephile (AV here on the forum)...it's $100 bucks for the same aluminum tube you get for $200 with Injen or AEM on the side...

I've got the racing beat rear section from an MP3 and it sounds great (to me). No real drone, very quiet unless you get on the throttle. Nearly stock but with a deep tone to it.

I have an HKS rear sitting here that I'm going to throw on (afraid the nuts on the car are pretty rusted and old so it might be hard) and check it out. I always liked the look of the canister at a bit of an angle. Some will say "that looks ricey", um.... yeah... I drive a modded Mazda, what of it?

Interested to hear the difference and see which one I want to live with.

HKS is loud as hell but a good tone...aggressive....With CS hangers it sits nice and tight to the bumper, looks awesome

question! what do you guys suggest for a not so loud muffler, im having a baby soon and dont want that thing all crazy and stuff, i kno i had a magnaflow on my mk4 and it was quiet till i went up high but then again it was a v6 so the engine is bit more quite (sounds crazy but true)

Racing Beat FTW its quiet as a ninja
im too poor to afford one right now but i know people with the RB and its goodstuff and sound
not so much the look kina looks stock but sound it goood no drones really
and earlier in this thread there have been discussion about quiet exhausts if u wana check it

Hey I have obx header I saw that obx also makes a catback for the p5 I don't care if its loud want best performance and the system was priced well below the others
