Black Mica and Graphite Mica will look best IMO.
I'd stay away from Crystal White Pearl Mica and Liquid Silver Metallic, with all the black trim the darker colors are going to look best!

It doesn't sat anything about them. What it says is that the interior design, quality, fit-n-finish of the new 3 is well beyond what is normally associated with an economy class car. Also keep in mind I'm in Canada so a $40k car here might not be what your thinking of. When I look at the pics of this interior I think Acura TL which is a $45k car here.

I agree with your assesment that the 3 surpasses what is normally considered standard in its class. That's why I bought one! (2thumbs) My point was that you don't get what you should out of a car at $40K... in the US or CA. Period.

You also have to take into account who that 40k car is targeted at... if its a younger adult the car is going to look more sporty/cheap but if it's the higher aged adults it will have the wood accents and all that Jazz... It's not that the car is below it's mark thats what some people want...

And the point remains that the new 3 hatch is ugly. The sedan is pretty ugly too, but not quite as bad. I wouldn't buy either. Mazda messed up on the hood. I don't like how the hood line does not draw down to the grill. There should be no bumper between the grill and hood like on the new 3. Reminds of a wuss azz VW Bettle. Also, for some reason, Mazda did not execute the side molding deletions well on the sedan. It looks like there's something missing. Interior is nice, but I'd never buy a car that I can't bear to look at.

But compare to other cars in the same class (Corolla, Civic, Sentra, Lancer, Impreza), it is still the best looking one.

Mazda messed up on the hood. I don't like how the hood line does not draw down to the grill. There should be no bumper between the grill and hood like on the new 3. Reminds of a wuss azz VW Bettle.

Well since I am the uneducated Hispanic on this forum, that has been insulted many times trust me and since I'm so concerned with only myself, let me make a comment. And don't begin insulting people by where they live because I was not raised nor born here.

The original color in the pics aparently dont do the car justice. It definately looks a lot better in the black. But the headlights seem to be stretched too far back and the openings in the bumper are too big IMO. But again its just an opinion.
