Now let's see those white ms3!

yeah once i baked them and pried the headlights apart it was just a matter of don't touch any chrome cause i didn't want to leave prints. i popped off the reflectors from within so you see absolutely no holes or anything. what i wish i did that i didn't do is change out the projector lens to the bmw style ones which makes the lighting way more chrisp and clear

nice to see you on this forum too lara lol

you could have just used nightshade to tint the reflectors really dark and left them in there and that way u wouldnt have holes either, but otherwise your car looks very very very nice (nana)

hey Lara,

where did you get those eyelids?? I dont like the ones I see on everyone elses, but yours are different. custom?

Hahaha, the car hasn't been washed in about 3 weeks... hence no tire shine. I don't really like using it either, it tends to sling onto the side of the car, no matter what brand you use.

Truth. I stopped using shine for this reason.

not true at all.

If you use a silicone based tire shine, yes, it will sling all over the side of your car, no matter how long it's been sitting on your tires.

Get a water based tire shine and it doesn't. I use Meguiar's Hyper Dressing diluted 3:1 and it looks good, wet but not too wet and it doesn't sling.

They are a new release from ECSpeedSound, a vendor on M3F. They actually are not on my car right now though. :)

Cool, thanks. I'll have to try that.

i actually like the look..I looked them up on M3F. Are they in production yet, or is it still jus in testing? I wanna get my hands on one.

I would send him a PM, I'm sure he'd send you a set if you were persistent. :) If not, I can just send you mine... I'm not using them.

I read that you had to paint them though, right? I would preferably have them prepainted. And did you just use tape to attach them? I will try to get in touch with him..If not, I will gladly take yours if you dont want them =) Thanks!

oh lara, do you know whats up with the little piece on the end of the eyelid that protrudes out a little bit? I'm looking at them on the "product testers needed" thread on m3f. Just wondering why the line isnt a smooth curve.

Yeah, fitment isn't great and the adhesive (these are a vinyl material with adhesive backing [not removable]) isn't that sticky. I could not get them to stay adhered to the headlamp.

Send him a PM, he may have worked out the bugs by now.

well what i do is spray them on, but not right away. only when i know the car will sit for hours. then when i get back to the car i got a rag and softly wipe some of it off so it doesn't splatter all over the car. doing this really lesson the amount on the car greatly. but i'm a guy who likes to works on cars and clean so it doesn't bother me to clean it once and a while seeing it. i carry micro fiber rags at all times and the black stuff wipes right off with the rags

^ Yeah, that's what I try to do too. :D

Here are a couple night shots... with an appearance from my old car.

Yeah, I had them on my old sedan (in the regular 2003.5 finish) and decided it would be a great winter wheel for my Speed3. I didn't want to go to an 18" since winter tires would have been ridiculously expensive. :) The only other pictures I have can be found here: http://www.larawdesigns.com/Mazdaspeed3/

Nice ride Lara

Thanks. :)

There are a few chips. :( I don't know.. I've just gotten pretty lucky. The car only has ~10,500 miles and I never follow close behind anyone. I'm sure as the months go by I'll get more and more.
