NoVA MSPs

The "i lub autoX" section of MEC has been having meets once or twice a week most of this spring and summer and anybody is welcome to join in I see that other people will be at the meeting this saturday The meeting list for the "i lub autoX" section is posted here

I see that the car show section has a big meet coming up in sept.

The track ****** group had a nice meet with lots of pictures from their event.

The "I lost my license and now I just start trouble on the boards" section of the club has been having meets every night in Autox MSP's mom's basement.

Any club is what you make of it. If you don't feel like there is anything for you in it then either start it in the club or don't join. The board is a gathering point for members to do their own activities and to get others to join in and try them out if they have any interest at all.

ok, let's all kick kyu in the balls and bring up everything negitive thing we can about him. That works....No one wants to start a b**** fest here. Feelings will get hurt and I dont want that and WE dont need that/this. People have stepped up and offered stuff to do but the end result is that few people get together anymore. I understand the this isnt the number one thing on everyones list. Its not number one on mine. My life has changed greatly this year and many other things have be come a more important to me. That is the only reason why I need to step down. I dont really want to but I need and I think the club/group may need a change. The comment about the leadership was souly based on the fact that this club/group of people have morfed into something that really doesnt have a need for direction by leadership. I define a club as an organised body of people with leadership and is led by said leadership. A group on the other hand is people that gather together, that yes share some kind of common interest, but without the need for leadership of any kind. Dont take my words wrong and it is just my thoughts and opinoun on the matter and I'm just one person. Like I said I still enjoy the people that I have met and look forward to getting together again with everyone again.

I'm really glad that the thread I started just trying to meet people has turned into a little b****fest. Let's just put the differences aside, take a deep breath, and (stfu).

For the reasons stated above, like having a life, of course meeting up all the time isn't going to work. That's why I enjoy going to the Sterling meet every so often. You just show up, you know there are going to be a lot of cars there and people to meet, and you can leave whenever the hell you want. You don't even need to organize anything. Just say "Hey, I'm going here and if anyone else is interested feel free to stop by between 6 and 8".

With the autocross being Saturday, I would understand many people being disinterested in the meet tomorrow, but since it's so close to where I live I'm going to show up any ways. So if anyone else is interested in meeting up, I'll probably be getting there around 6:30 and leaving around 7:30-8:00.

sorry man. Didnt really have the intention of screwwing up your thread. Hope to meet you at some point. Just dont hold it against me that I dont own a msp anymore. At some point I plan on making it up to the friday night meet. Have you ever thought about coming out to the woodbridge mega meet on the first weekend of the each month? I should be there this Saturday night.

Listen, I don't think anyone here wants to hear all the negative things one person has to say about another. Thats not the reason why we are here to begin with. This new guy came over to this forum just to meet some people that shared his interest in car shows and msps. Instead of welcoming him into the group, the complaints about this club/group started. Not a good impression by any means.

No harm no foul, it got some people heated up, so maybe someone will step up and set up a formal meet, or at least an informal one. Some Lancer guys (I used to own a Lancer OZ Turbo) are going to Woodbridge on Saturday, but with the autocross all day Saturday I doubt I'll have the energy nor the patience to make it down there. I've been driving TOO much lately, and I'm getting sick of it to be honest (not the autocrossing part, the highway driving part). Last weekend I was in my car for at least 14 hours between Friday and Sunday.

It's no big deal and I don't mind, I put up with this kind of moaning and groaning in the Lancer forums all the time. Especially between the company RRM and any other turbocharger/supercharger options. It got really annoying. This is nothing (wiggle). So, was that you I saw the other day on Elden?

Might have been?!? There is also another spicy female in that area too that works over at aol in dulles. Hard to say. I have rims on mine. Hers are stock so I guess thats how you could tell them apart?

Nope, it was the other spicy female then, because she had the stock rims. That kind of blows my mind though, 3 female MSP owners in such a small area.

with what matt was sayin i agree, i think in the long run...we have always just been a group of local car owners that did things every once in a while. i know i personally have put forth effort to set up meets this summer and nuttin came of them......with all that im doing i only have a few weekends free and i tried to get somehting goin on those weekends and it failed.....u cant plan for everyone obviously but what can ya do.....i think in the end of the day we need to realize that although we try to make this an organized "club" its more or less a bunch of smaller groups linked together thru this forum.....i know that sometimes we got bowling meets and food runs but damn if they are in va....i cant make them...i work all day then go home and work on my house...i got maybe an hour or so to eat dinner....s*** by the time i get to va i gotta turn back and head home.....when i set up things up here i get nuttin.....i gave up on plannin any meet since its pointless.....im hopin to have my house ready for a party....like i had told everyone at the last meeting.....ill be surprised to see anyone come honestly....but i guess we'll see....i think the last great meet we had wa smy birthday party....to see yall come to it and make that effort meant alot to me as friendship and thats why i think the majority of mec is so great, but in the end we just have other things to do...nuttin can be done....and i must say that since then ive found many times that memebers of this group have had issues with others...i know i have, although i personally dont give a s*** about it some do and thats not cool....dealin with a large group of ppl you are gonna have this problem..but i think this can be attibuted to the fact that as a whole group...we havent done nuttin period....ok my rant is done....thanks

thing is...the majority of chicks in a p5 have kids.....mec chicks dont of course but the general idea is there
