Noise from front end?

Car is still under warranty so I want to take it to the dealer. I think something is starting to wear in the front end somewhere. You hear the sound from 0-50 or 50-0 mph when accelerating or slowing down normally. It basically sounds like I've got 4WD off road tires on my car. Kind of a hum or something is rubbing, dragging, etc. I don't think it's tire noise from bad wear because I had the tires rotated to rule that out, noise didn't change much. From day one I bought the car new, I would get a metallic, high pitch squeal from time to time when making a left hand turn from a dead stop from a light or stop sign. Or, when I would approach a curb slowly to park. Dealer of course couldn't find anything when I took it in. Not sure if it's a wheel bearing, brakes dragging all the time or what. Any idea what would make a sound like road noise from a 4WD truck tire and it not be the tires?

I would check to see if there is any plastic in the well that the tires might be rubbing on when turned. HUM usually is a sign of wheel bearing, I get that same noise sometimes but it doesn't bother me anymore, this car makes all kinds of strange noises. also might want to check to see if the rim is still true just incase.

How many miles on your car? I just don't see wheel bearings going on an 08, but then again depends how many miles on her. I can't think of anything else it might be other then the tires. What do you have for tires? I ask because I just recently installed some kumho exta mx's on my car and I have a distinct hum on the high way, I attribute it to the tires. It sounds like you didn't put new tires on recently though.

My Hankook V12s also has a hum, which i never had before on the stock tires. Maybe cuz the stock ones were so damn loud we coudn't hear any other noises ? It's a MAZDA conspiracy to hide all the imperfections from the vehicle. (rant)

I have to say as much as I hate the stock tires for noise, i do miss them for the precision they provide on handling.

Car has just under 30K miles on it and I bought some Toyo Proxi 4's 10K miles ago. The tires didn't makes any noise like I'm hearing when new, the noise has gotten louder over time.
