Nocturnalspeed's Welcome & Build Thread

Just got back from the movies.....

Yes, the sound gets wicked when it hits boost. I just have to say the car straight pulls like a muthafucka! I'm just glad Ive been consistantly on 7psi while adding all the mods. I can really get a feel for what each mod does for the car. Can't wait till I get tuned and start creeping in the double digits :D

Mad thx to my brother! I don't know what it is with protege's... but the guy knows his stuff.

Props to PowerFab! Great stuff and highly recommmend.

lol ^ Had a feeling you were going to go there.

I'm going to have to hold off on that. Have some things I need to take care of first, before I purchase more s*** for this car. I still have a bunch of parts laying around. I don't want to add more to the pile...

This just in...

AWR / Ron Davis High Performance All-Aluminum Radiator w/ Spal Fans & Aluminum Shroud Assembly

..this piece is a beautiful work of art, pictures give it no justice. I don't even want to install it, I'd rather frame it and hang it over the fireplace :)

ok that's just so insane.

Really beautiful.

But why do you go with the AWR instead or the Corksport or the Mishimoto.

Through different peoples opinions, reading online and name brand persuade me to purchase the Ron Davis Radiator. There quality and fitment is died on and I couldn't be any happier. Just from the appearance alone, money well spent....

Sucks the aftermarket radiator cap does not fit with the AWR, so I'll have to sell it. If anyone is interested in purchasing a Brand New MazdaSpeed 1.3 bar Radiator Cap shoot me a pm.

EDIT - RADIATOR CAP SOLD!

Thank you David.

I think you'll need a aftermarket radiator to attach the shroud (which you'll need to order P5 brackets), unless you could call AWR and see if the have a competition short shroud for the stock radiator. tbh I'm not sure if it'll work for any other radiator... they made special bracket welds for the shroud specifically. I mean the fitment is dead on as you can see.

Better yet, purchase the shroud & slimline fans and make your own brackets in the specific places!
