Mp3 yellow
ok im installing a zex wet nitrous system on my mp3 and evrything went good untill...... I have to hook up the zex management unit to the voltage output wire on the throttle position sensor. there is three wires on the throttle position sensor does anyone know what one is the voltage output wire?????? thanks jt

dam man, how did u get some much negative rating? lol, sorry id ont no about this, might want to try in the performance seciton though. but just a warning mp3s dont handle nitrous very well.

i beleive that it was the middle wire of the three wires comin off the tps sensor. watch yourself wit nitrous, bc u got more advanced timing than reagular proteges. dont go crazy wit it. i had it for a while, and it was too much of a hassle, always gave me misfire codes, no matter what plugs i used, and i also burnt up my crank postion sensor! just be carful!!

Wow, with follow up posts like that I would definitely NOT risk it. It would be a total waste to blow up a nice car for such lame reasons.

If you can get control over the timing, it wouldn't be as much of a risk. Try a P5 ECU if you can get one. That's not going to make it indestructaqble, but will lower the timing a bit. Nitrous does make a hell of a bang for the buck, as long as you can stay far away from the real bang!(thumb)

hell yeah, its a bang for the buck, made a nice differnece, but i misfired every couple of times i used it, so i had to go to the darkside, and let me tell, i am happy as hell now that i have boost!!!

just trade your orriginal ecu whit a p5 ecu !! !!

You will always have a CEL on because the MP3's don't have VTCS, but the retarded timing on there will benefit you with Nitrous or turbo.
