Nextmod front grill for speed6 . . .

I read in another thread about this product for our cars. Can anyone with experience with this product, tell me if the fitment is good and how it looks (pics maybe)?

According to their website, their pieces are made of a material called "Duraflex" (like fiberglass), so I'm very curious to know how the "finish" actually looks . . . is it nice & smoothly finished or does it look like fiberglass?

Here's a link to the product . . . http://www.nextmod.com/index.php?target=products&product_id=29804

cheers

Lots of people are running them, also known as the supershyguy(SSG) badgeless grille.

Make sure if you install one, you double-sided tape the bottom edge that sits on the bumper, or you have the potential to lose the grille at high speeds (all of them are like this, even the AutoExe).

Pics???

Are there any good pics of the grill anywhere (ideally pics of the mounted grill, showing the fit)? The pic on their website isn't very large or very clear.

cheers

Yes there are, just check the pic only thread, most of the guys in there running painted grilles are Nextmod/SSG's.

Here is my NEXTMOD grill on my SPEEDSXY!

Thank you for that!

For a red speed 6 (with dark gun metallic wheels), what's your opinion on color choice . . . body color or black?

cheers

That is painted with matte black spray paint.

They are a PIA to put on. Be careful I have cracked 3 LOL.

But 2 were from hitting the bumper and 1 was cause it was made s***.

It's cheap and they are made in Toronto Canada.

Great company good customer service.

I attached some picks

The finish is usually just primed black. Looks ok. It is super easy to spray paint it and makes it look ALOT better.

I must now admit . . . flat black does looks pretty hot . . . but oh well, I ordered mine painted red. Not quite as "bold" of a statement as the black, but it'll still look way fine, way better than the stock grille.

cheers

This is next on my to-do list.. The black is a bold attention grabber and I think it looks damn sexy.. I am not sure which one to get tho.. It appears they are all made the same way and same quality?

Yeah, I'd like to hear from someone who has bought one recently from Peter. I do remember that the first couple out were a bit thin, and may not have fit exactly right, but I thought that based on the feedback from those he revised the design. Anyone order one within the last year or so?

my grill fit great !! didnt see any problems.. looking to get the front lip next!
and no.. thats not a crack in my bumper its a run of water.. ( just washed it )....

yea greg08 if your not going to post pictures of crappy fitment to back up your statement then its just not worth posting negative comments like that...i am looking into getting one and really would rather not go through ebay's speedline since i saw they are out of japan or china...so i was looking to invest my money into nextmod...and from jracers picture it looks like it fits great and the bar in the middle looks nice and solid. when i order and get mine (maybe at the end of may) i plan on bringing it to a friend/body guy, in which i already talked about how some of these products crack, and he said that he can apply either a thicker fiberglass application to the back or a strong glue or something to reinforce it from cracking...we wont know until i order it lol but either way nextmod is the company i am looking into next
