I was thinking we could do a 2 day drive. In lthe spring sometime. But drive up like we did yesterday, maybe spend some more time in the towns lookin' around. When we get up to Flagstaff either camp or split hotel rooms, and have a nice shindig party thingamabopper, then cruize back the next day, maybe different backroads(possible?) Anyways just posting my thoughts...

i'm itching to go again soon. once i recuperate my bank account, i should be good to go. woot! loran's already told me she's not going on the twisties cause she'll get car sick and have a horrible time. her other option was that we could go and i can drive really slow (what's the fun in that?). so yeah... when's the next run?

oh dude... tucson guys, i did the math... gas was almost $60. food was ~15 per person. that's ONLY $75!!!!! for 17 hours worth of driving. weeeeeeee! man, i'm sooo tired today.

Hey dudes!! Its me, Matt. Yeah, it wasn't all that much for the fun we had. Except we all need to get turkeys. Gobble Gobble!!

Hmm, yeah then to mexico...lol j/k. No but seriously, that would be pretty fun. But not many purdy places down here...

hey clay and matt and john and brandon and anyone else in tucson who i have yet to meet...

we should scope out places, mount lemmon being one of them... but that's an hour up, then an hour back down the same road. the other side is dirt access roads, and it's pretty rough. perhaps looking at topographical road maps of the area, then going on a run ourselves to see if it is worthy of carving might be beneficial for mazdasports. it'll just give everyone another option, you know?

I am all for any kickass driving like we did yesterday. Always count in the TURKEY. That was all we talked about today at the shop.

Actually there are several nice drives in this neck of the woods. Each is individually shorter than the 17 hour marathon you did last weekend. In addition to Tombstone, there is the Ft. Huachuca Buffalo solder museum, Bisbee's Cooper Queen mine and artist shops, the Sonota and Elgin vineyards, Cochise stronghold and Kartcher Caverns. None of the drives are that long from Sierra Vista which is about an hour south east of Tucson. I think that there may still be a ghost town over towards Douglas that can be reached by a decent road.

A couple of times a year a bunch of the vineyards have wine tasting festivals but I don't remember when. Sierra Vista and some of the local businesses sponser the state's largest open air car show. I think that is in Oct. Once a month except in Dec, the local sport's car club puts on an autocross. In short lots to do and see, and some nice roads to drive.

well then, dolphin is the one to talk to! I didn't even think about bisbee, that would be a neat place. Maybe we could work out a time when we could go out and preview a trip. Hey zzooomm, I emailed you and tanner about a jdm h22a, and also a b16a2 swap for one of my buddies

Hey dophin you should set up our next run! I'm itchin to make our next T-shirt. If anyone can help me out...I need a nice pic of the mazdaspeed...anyone anyone

do you want it in the same style as the p5? i'm too lazy to go on the other computer to talk to you on msn... maybe i'll just download it to this one.

I can help but I spend a lot of time out of town on business. I think I averaged 2 weeks a month someplace else last year. About the only weekends I can usually count on are the ones I have a local autocross. My boss tries to schedule out of town things to let me compete.

What date(s) do you want to try for?

Here is the local club web site URL:

bdg667,
What kind of picture do you want of the MSP? TAZ, my MSP, is Laser Blue to match the MP3 I got for my daughter.

I guess I should update my profile since I now have TurboTAZ #2641 a laser blue Mazdaspeed and my daughter has the MP3 full time.

hmm... for the next run, in addition to hanging out in flag and partying it up, i say the following day, instead of dricing straight home, we go up to the grand canyon! yeah, that would be sweet!

I'm going to try really hard to make this run.

I would like to, but it's nearly impossible for me to plan things that far in advance. Who knows, we could be at war with Luxemborg when that date rolls around.
