Actually there are several nice drives in this neck of the woods. Each is individually shorter than the 17 hour marathon you did last weekend. In addition to Tombstone, there is the Ft. Huachuca Buffalo solder museum, Bisbee's Cooper Queen mine and artist shops, the Sonota and Elgin vineyards, Cochise stronghold and Kartcher Caverns. None of the drives are that long from Sierra Vista which is about an hour south east of Tucson. I think that there may still be a ghost town over towards Douglas that can be reached by a decent road.
A couple of times a year a bunch of the vineyards have wine tasting festivals but I don't remember when. Sierra Vista and some of the local businesses sponser the state's largest open air car show. I think that is in Oct. Once a month except in Dec, the local sport's car club puts on an autocross. In short lots to do and see, and some nice roads to drive.
