Newest Headrest Monitors

I recently got some new headrest monitors. I had some junk ass Emerson monitors and they only lasted about 4 months. I have posted some pics on my website. I will get some better pics in the day tomorrow. The Accele monitors I have now swivel for easier viewing and have a much better picture than the Emerson's did.

Wow, swivle thats a really cool feature. I like the detachable face ones. Allough I wouldn't want to carry them around.

That's pretty sweet!! Where did you get the headrest covers? I was thinking about finding some stock headrests, and making them to fit over my current headrest TV's.

how much did your headunit cost? just wondering what the cheapest i can get a head unit with the screeen etc.. for.

It won't matter how much I paid since that's not retail on it. It went for $2500.00. I paid $1298.00. It has in dash cd/dvd, tv tuner, touchscreen, 3 preamp outs (front, rear, & sub), 1 audio/video out, 2 audio/video ins, seperate HPF for front and rear, LPF for sub, dual zone capability, and a whole bunch of other cool stuff. The Accelevision headrest monitors were $162 each.

it does matter cuz we are curious as to what we can get them for. we just wanted to know the price ;) there has to be a cheaper version LOL 2500 id rather put that kinda money into performance :(

Jelly's saying you can't get the monitor at that price as you don't work for a dealer thats why its useless information to you.

hrm maybe you didn't read my post correctly. "as to what we can get them for" i realize that already, he didn't even have to tell us waht he paid cuz he works for them, he could have just told us retail or what one of us would have to pay for them. anyways,

How much can i get just a screen for that folds out like that not part of the head unit but just a screen that would fold out like that basically i wanna hook a ps2 up to it, i can get the dvd capabilities form that so thats no issue.

About $1500 is the going rate. As always, internet is cheaper but no warrenty and no real associations to the manufacturer.

You can go with these, but beware cheap prices mean cheap quality usually when it comes to mobile video products. These are from www.mp3playerstore.com

They are selling bundle packs for both so you can get a dvd player as well. I believe gjmoreo bought his in dash from there. I don't remember if he ever posted pics but there was a post about it awhile ago.

just a simple question... if i am too pick up sum sort of an lcd monitor that slides out of the dash and i were to buy an external dvd player to mount elsewhere... what else would i need to buy other than the actualy screen unit and dvd player?

oh btw... im not sure if this site has been shown a thousand times but one cool site i found was etronics.com. they have a ton of products- anywhere from cheap ass s*** to top of the line products. check it out.

They also have no factory warrenty and no authorization to sell those products.
Since the MSPs MP919 has an aux input you really don't need anything else other then a short set of RCAs
Ofcoarse you will need to provide the screen with power, ground and switched power.

so if i were to buy in dash dash monitor and a dvd car player to stick in the glove box id be good to go after just sum wires?? im just hoping u dont need transformers or other s*** behind the dash.

unrelated but funny...
I was driving down Newbury Street in Boston this evening and got behind a Hummer Pickup with an open cabin. He had a TV screen up high and everyone walking down the side walk was coming over to watch the movie he had on while he was waiting at a stop light...not something you see every day.
