newbie looking to mod

Hey all,
I've had my 3 hatch for about a year now and I'm thinking of modding. I'm actually looking to get a different car, but I don't know what I want and there's a lot of new stuff coming out for 2006 that I may like to wait for. Is that new RX-7 going to happen or not?

So, in the meantime I'm thinking about doing some mods for fun. First of all, for those of you who have done mods, how do you like the car modded? After a year of owning it, I'm not that impressed with the powerband, handling is pretty good, transmission and clutch not that great, interior has gotten kinda cheap feeling even tho I take care of it, and the stereo sucks! I want to do intake/exhaust, suspension, wheels and tires to start, but I"m not sure if it's even worth it. Any recommendations?

do a search for intakes... i have the umnitza sri and am very happy with the quality and performance additions it made to my car. also as far as the stock stereo goes if you want it to sound better without a lot of $$ sound deaden your front doors made a world of difference even with the stock set up.... there is a couple of options for lightened flywheels and clutch upgrades that will deffinatly give you some more direct power to the wheels and make your engine even more rev-happy. as for exhaust check here for some great info on exhuast

also there are coilovers out for our car for some nice handling and lowering capabilities, there is a turbo kit out for it as well i think the kit comes with a 6-7psi setting for around 240-260whp.... (4g's though)

just search through the forum and you will find tons of stuff to spend your money on if you want to keep your 3...
