2002 Mazda Protege5
I've had my P5 for about a year and half now. Was in the Honda game but I figured it was time to quit that for the time being until I get done with college. A lot of friends make fun of since they think before I know it, it'll be a baby hauler. That's pretty close though, its more like a kitty hauler for right now at least.......and for a long while I hope. Nothing really done to it nor do I think I'll ever get into modding it. It actually has an AEM intake on it that I'm trying to get rid of in place of a stock one. Have a buddy who used to AutoX his and it was pretty damn quick. I may AutoX it for fun some day since its been a while since I've done that. Now onto the pics.

Welcome to the forums (hi) Car looks good, but I have one question... what is going on with the gap between the hood and bumper/grill?

Clean P5, leave it like it is (maybe ditch the side moldings?). What are the wheels, thought they may be the 02.5 wheels but it's hard to tell. Clean del slo as well ;)

I have yet to figure out why there is such a big gap. I took off the bumper and tried to pull it up a little since it was kind of sagging before but I'm open for suggestions.

Do the moldings just have an adhesive backing? The wheels are stock P5 wheels, its an 02 so you may be right. Don't know too much about Mazda's yet. Thanks though, the Deli was funner than hell to drive. :D

I'm not talking about the grill itself, but the gap across the whole top of the bumper, grill included...

now i see what your talking about, was on my ipod so the pic wasnt very big. just saw a gap between the grille and hood. but that is pretty low...

Yeah, it came with the, I'm assuming aftermarket grill and there's not much to adjust. I may see if I can move the bumper and grill up with some spacers. That's the only idea I've got.

There's clips for the bumper on the bottom side of the headlamps, yours are broken lol. It's a common problem, most people don't know about the clips when they remove the bumper and they snap off pretty easily. 22v ftw!
