Hey guys, name's mike, new the mazda community but i do have a couple friends with mazdas, a 3 and a speed 3. I came from a Supercharged 03 Corolla that took a dive this past Sunday. Apparently the seal around my oil pan gave out, so my oil is all over the 60 freeway in southern california, and ended up seizing my engine.
Anyway, my gf used to have a Yaris, so i opted to look for a car in the Yaris subcompact class, and i stumbled upon the 2. Heard really good things about it, like it was based off the MX5 and such so it was rumored to handle very well stock vs my corolla that i ended up putting over 3 grand into the suspension to make it handle like a dream.
Needless to say, i'm very impressed with the 2, offering more standard features than the yaris and the fit along with being a lot cheaper.
I got mine for $14795 before taxes and registration. (Not to mention i qualified for 0% for 60 months...so why wouldn't i take free money?)
Looking to get the Boomerang Center Armrest, and tint the windows 20% all around first, then start to look into everything CorkSport =-)
