2017~2025 New to cx5, but not Mazdas

Yeah I read the reviews and that's also why I was hesitant.... But for ME, it's not a big deal. It's just a matter of logging in and waiting a few seconds. And I'm not starting my car as I'm walking to it, I'm starting it while I'm still inside my house/work. So it's perfect temp once I get in.

Hasn't some people experienced the issue where they get to their car and it turns itself off (uhm)

Correct... it doesn't stay on once you open the door. Which a lot of other vehicle makes have that same feature. So that's not an "issue". That was by design.

My previous Explorer remote start would turn the vehicle on, but when I got in I had to push the start button twice still...if I tried to put it in gear, it would turn off. So I think it's a safety feature to where your car can't just get stolen by someone jumping in and taking off, cause the minute they open the door, the car turns off.

Well the speed 3 is the obvious winner in that category... I actually had a few vehicles between speed 3 and Mazda 6.... But comparing the Mazda 6 to cx5, the 6 was quicker and more responsive. Obviously since it's a little lighter. So far gas mileage was better in the 6, but I'm ok with that since the cx5 is roomier.
Thanks for the feedback. I will be letting go of our CX-5 soon and was wondering if the Mazda6 is a good compromise between the CX-5 and a Speed3.

Thought so. Thanks for confirming

Who said I was looking at the road through my phone? I took numerous photos without looking and then picked the best one... Plenty of them were blurry and off-center

Tbh, that was aimed at anchors comment (and a joke at that). If you are interested in recovering bluelion pm Antoine he may be able to change the associated email or at the least tell you which one was used.
