so saturday i purchased me some new rubber!!! (finally) decided to go with good ole' toyo proxes4 (215/45/17) ill post pics tomorrow. i love em they look great, tread is sweet and sidewalls look alot better than stock, i think ill enjoy them!!!

near the end of this summer, i put on a pair of BFGoodrich KDW NT's on the front. a little bigger sidewall, but they perform much better in the rain, and the tread looks really mean:

My buddy has Proxes 4's on his Type-S. They hold very well and are still great in the winter. My Proxes FZ-4's suck.

Mine seemend like they had to deep of tread at first. The car would not hold down as well as the stock tires did. But after like 2k miles, they were a lot better. I think the side walls are to soft on them, and with deep tread you get a lot of tire peel..

Good choice of tires. If you want more grip get the T1-R. I've switched to those recently.

I'm getting a quote on a set of Yohohama Advan Comp "M" 215-45-R17 tomorrow. Anyone have experience with these? They look great and I may go 225-45-R17.

Just got a quote on four 215/45/17 Proxes 4. $368 out-the-door from Discount Tire in Novi! That includes $25 / tire trade-in (truck tires), free balancing and patching for the life of the tires, and installation/taxes/etc. I'm hoping to get mine within a week or two.

Seriously!!! Is that for everything!!! Because if it is Discount tire in Grand Rapids, michigan is trying to **** me. They said the cheapest tire they had that fit my car was around $500. I am glad I didn't buy them and decided to do more research.

I dont ever really see any of you guys talking about the Falkens? Any reason why? I have run Falken ZE512's on a set of 18s and they were great tires. I currently have Toyo's but I would run Falkens again...

512s are geared for more daily driving than performance. They suck in the wet.
