I'm putting this under Appearance because it's not really a performance mod, even though I shortened the shifter by about an inch.

So anyway, the shift knob isn't really new. It's actually quite old. It's been in my old, reliable pick-em-up truck for close to 8 years. Since I'm going to be scrapping the truck, I wanted to have a reminder of the old girl for years to come. (sad2)

Anyway... ignore the dirty carpets and floor mats. :D

Dang.....I was going to rag you too.....Then I looked at mine.......

Tell me about your pedals.....I bought some with the universal clip mounts and no way would they work.....

anyone want to just buy this for me? cant justify spending money on parts for looks with my turbo/clutch soon.....but that looks good and I hate our slippery stock pedals

goldwing wtf is that thing hanging down over your hvac controls? looks like a bare copper wire or something...? anyways nice look with the 8 ball, i would think it would look a bit more at home in your old truck but i understand... i have a piece of sheet metal (rust) from my old isuzu pu that i drove into the ground... even got the stealership to give me 1200 for it....hehehe...

Renzo- You're entitled to your opinion.

Shiney- as stunna said, they are factory accessory pedals. And no, there's no danger of them coming off. They snap on quite securely.

tsunami- I was wondering if anybody would say anything about that. It's one of the braids from my girlfriends hair. It's hanging from my mirror. :D

The best part is that it's not a shift knob that looks like an 8-ball. It's a real 8-ball that I drilled and tapped to fit on the shifter. (thumb)

thats cool that its a real 8 ball.
and about having your girlfriends hair hanging from your mirror.....kinda disturbing.....(uhm)(confused)

I would have been really impressed if you did that with an Brunswick 13 lb bowling ball.........

Well, it's only "hers" in the sense that she bought it and wore it for a few months. It's a braid extension and they fall out after a few months. It still reminds me of her, though. (boobs)
