Hey.. Trying to get into the Mazda scene.. I started with honda and went to Nissan. Now I want a change. Pretty much lookin at a speed3. So I'm just tryin to get as much info as I can on the car. Learn as much as possible so when I go to buy it, I'm ready. I probly won't be gettin it till sometime next year because I'm going into boot camp for the Navy in november. Then I have schools. So when I'm done with both. Thats when I'm going to buy it. But I like what I see so far. Fwd is a bit of a downer but I love everything else about the car.

If anyone has some advice on other places to get info. Meets in Nyc/Long island area or anything helpful for that matter. That be really cool. Thanks..

Im gonna try and go for the new smiley face one.. If it ends up bein I get a used one then I do. But I'd rather get the new one.

Depends.. I'm readin up on it now. I wanna see what my limits are.. Right nowww.. My basic plan would be along the lines of intake, full exhaust, tune.. Few suspension mods.

I'm gonna read up about turbo upgrades and more extensive stuff and see how far I wanna go with it. See bout money n stuff. But being in the Navy. I should be ok on money to have some good fun with it.. Sometimes I go crazy on builds with cars.. lol

you will probably go paycheck to paycheck on mods. and god help you when you come back from deployment with that chunk of change, you'll go mod crazy

maybe the '10 ms3 will be out long enough to get some of the major kinks out of it like the 07 models had (motor mounts and the like). or maybe the market will get bigger for the 2nd gen than it was for the 1st gen

You don't even no me.... N yet u do haha lol. Na I won't go that crazy. I needa try and be some what responsible and save.. Besides some of the paycheck hasta go to monthly payments and insurance lol. I wanna go right to deployment from a-school to come bck with a s*** load of money. But it's all good.. lol.

My boy has a speed6 and he's been readin up n what not n said the market for the new ms3 is suppose to be pretty big.. So well see. I figure I won't end up being able to buy it till almost summer next year.. Maybe earlier. Spring time. my whole winter will be occupied by boot camp and a-school..

i've done the military thing and i bought myself post deployment presents. only 1 was a bike and the other ended up being a house

but had i not gotten married and stayed in i probably would always be waiting for that next part to be delivered or that next direct deposit to blow on something else. although back then i might have gotten the speed6 or evo
