new rotors?

Oh yeah I forgot, the rotors came with a strip of temp sensitive paint on the outer edge.

The color key is as follows:

Red Ambient temp.
Rust 700 deg F
Orange 875 deg F
Yellow 1000 deg F
Pale yellow 1200 deg F
Gray Green 1475 deg F

But after 850 miles of my driving (wrc) the paint is still red. (shrug)

Maybe its those stupid Bobcats stoping the car before they have time to heat up. (thumb)
FrozenRotors puts that strip on?

abs is really fast vibration......pulsation is caused by warped rotors

every goddamn MSP has f-up rotors....ALL OF THEM
i owned 2 and on both rotors were warped after 6k miles

every person i know....at least here in cali.....has warped rotors.

oh yeah, and the scariest s*** was driving spicyMSP's car 60 miles down to magnaflow, alone.....with NO brake pads (30k+ miles), warped rotors, and a blinking ABS light.

Guys, concerning warped rotors, I'd like for you all to read this link please: http://www.stoptech.com/whitepapers/warped_rotors_myth.htm

It has been *MY* personal experience that the brake shudder you think is warped rotors is uneven deposits on the rotor from crappy brake pads.

As for aftermarket rotors, I'll dig through my book on Monday and see what I can find. I may have something you'll like....

Ooooh, cool Matt. Hopefully you can come up with something. Otherwise, I'm going to probably get new front rotors, have them cryo'd at a place by me and get some Bobcats..

Explain to me how aftermarket rotors are going to be better than OEM spec ones?
Yep, cast iron is cast iron (rotors are *NOT* steel). The heat treatments the different manufacturers use can affect how they wear and if they crack easily, but no one rotor is really going to *perform* better than the other.

Explain to me how aftermarket rotors are going to be better than OEM spec ones? The low speed shudder is *NOT* warped rotors. I don't know if anybody has ever driven a car with warped rotors, but that's not it. The pads are the issue. Besides, it costs $8 a rotor to be resurfaced at Pep Boys anyway. Why waste your money?
hmm okay...

just to clarify...i never said aftermarket would be better than OEM spec.
What does a car with warped rotors drive like? Mad steering wheel shake?

So should i even resurface them? I might as well save that money then if its the pads, right?

Holy s***, where the **** did that come from...

What the **** is your problem?

Since you are so ******* righteous, isnt going to a brake shop and asking if they look 'in spec' being spoon fed too?

The hell dude, honestly, is your ******* problem?

My what? I dont have a problem...im just asking ******* questions, dickhead. I didn't ask you how to take my car to the shop and ask the dick to look at my breaks, i can figure that out on my own.

I just asked what driving with warped rotors feels like then. Simple ******* question and you turn it into a flame. Whatever dude...

Steering wheel shake while braking at high-speeds, as you slow down it slowly dissipates
