whats up fellas!!!! as of 5/29 i now own a 2003 auto/stick p5. i love the car. i just changed my stock mids and did 3 way fosagtes 6 by 9 in the front and 2 way 5 by 4 in th back. sounds awsome. i also stayed up late last nite installing hid to the headlights. now i can see for miles lol. iinstalled xenons in the fog lights to compliment the hids. also changed the 1157 bulbs in the head lights to a hyper white.

now i want to change the stock amber lens thats on both sides of the front bumber. i want clear lens but i cant seem to find any. i heard that celica fits but some moding has to be made. i dont want to mod anything. is there were i can get clear bumbers markers?

There's no modding for Celica lenses. RX-7 ones are the ones you have to mod for.

http://www.procarparts.com/ Look under Lights, sidemarkers, Mazda RX-7, 1995. They're around $36/pr and you'll have to do some bumper mods. Check exterior mods column here on the forum.

Celica's are closer to P5 original. Depends on the look you want.

welcome. what kind of HID kit did you get. i'm using a philips kit that was from my civic. had to customize the h4 bulbs to fit. but i'm looking for h7 bulbs.

well my friend works at a bmw dealer so he got me some hid from a 5 series bulbs and all. i can find out what kind of bulbs they are but (bowdown) if fit perfectly onto the head light no modding or anything. but what was done i went to autozone and got headlight plugs for the hid bulbs so all i have to do is plug and play no wire cutting or anything. if you are intersted in excatly how it was done let me know and all ask my friend for the specifics becuase he is the one who installed them.

you can get celica lenses (which require no modding) for about $35 shipped to your house

rx-7 lenses (which require modding) will run about $90 plus shipping. but they do look and flow better with the car.

Be cautious of the 225's they might rub if you don't roll your fenders, I am trying to sell some 18" 225's from a Passat, and am still waiting on feedback to see what issues there are for Mazdas. My understanding so far, is that it will depend on the wheel offset.

You could always black out your side marker lights, that looks good too.

my kit is plug and play also, that's why i didn't want to sell it. find out what bulb they are and let me know. and ask him how much if they are for a philips kit.

It's been gone over and over, I know there's lsomething like a dozen threads. I won't be the first to tell you, but please make use of the search feature.

Thatsaid, the biggest difference is .5's have spare tire subwoofers, and Generally no roofracks (they were optional)
