New options coming for P.E.P. Downpipes

No problem pope. Im so in love with the dp I just can't wait to buy all the awesome protege parts you make.

Hey Tom, can we get some more info on the exhaust adapter? I've asked about it a couple times but haven't seen any responses from you yet. Is it the same as the Grimmspeed Subaru one? Are you supplying gaskets with it by any chance?

It is the Grimmspeed adapter and it comes with a 3" gasket, 2.5" gasket, and hardware.

I literally just got out of debt and somehow i'm starting to slide back in it on this forum lol.

Excellent, thank you sir. So the flanges are the same after all huh?

Edit: Are you offering any type of package for people who want to buy all of the extra goodies but already have a downpipe?

LOL!! I got samples from a couple different laser and cnc plasma companies and unless I was willing to pay almost double I couldn't get anyone who could cut it any cleaner. The problem is that on the small diameter holes the heat builds up and starts to blow through. On the larger cuts it works great and its nice and smooth. I'm trying a company with a waterjet, but won't see any of their work for at least another week or two. Ultimately I decided that even though it doesn't look as pretty as I'd like it will work great, if I can find someone who can cut the part cleaner for the same or similar price I'll switch but in the mean time these guys will work. The ultimate machine for the job is a wire EDM, but I haven't found anyone willing to do small production runs yet. I need to just buy a CNC mill and run them myself it would be a very slow way to make a lot of this stuff, but I could turn out some really nice work.

Here are the pics.

Waterjet is simply amazing. If you've found anyone that will do it for you, it will come out perfect. A place near me called Local Motors where you buy a car as a kit and build it there (actually very awesome), has one. I don't know who I would have to become friends with to use it though.

If you aren't happy with spacer you can send it back for a refund. I fully appreciate that it isn't as pretty as I'd like, but I got sample work from multiple vendors and it is representative of what the technology is capable of. Cleaner parts can be made, but not for anywhere near the price point / quantity I need. If I were ordering 100s of them I could get the price down, or if I sold them for $70 I could get them looking better. I would not have shipped it if I weren't 100% confident that it will perform its job perfectly. Let me know what you want to do and I'm happy to accomodate.

I will take it when I haz the moneys. As long as it works Idc what it looks like. You will never see it anyways

Thats what I think, It will work awesome. Just use some HighTack on the paper gasket side to make sure it seals.
