New OEM Looking Navigation System

I was flipping through my PAS magazine when I came across the Motevo Mobile Media player. They have an OEM looking Navigation/Media unit for our car. Anyone have one of these installed? More importantly price?

You can see the unit and specs at www.motevomobile.com under the OE fit section.

It looks a lot like the one at caradvanced.com. There was someone on here who had ordered it, but I dont know if he ever got it.

I'd be curious as well. Their site is kind of ridiculous. They need to make it easier to reach them... or just list the pricing.

What if it is fake. Like a photoshop modified pic? The after picture doesn't look real... Just throwing that out there, it might be an easy way to rip someone off.

The after pic is a definite photochop. Just look at the dash display above the radio. The plastic is still on it in both pics. Plus, the same exact details are on the display, including "CD" and track time, which shouldn't function at all with an aftermarket HU.

If they're so lazy that they take a pic of an MS3 dash on a dealer's lot (come on, the plastic was still on the dash!) and photochop it instead of actually finding an MS3 to install their product in, I don't want to think about customer service when your shiny new HU doesn't perform as expected, or breaks down completely.

It might be a chop, but the unit from car advanced does use the display. It shows everything but the trip computer.

That is the same unit that was originally also sold by Polaris GPS with the model designation PID 3035. However, now on the Polaris site the picture for their PID 3035 unit looks the same as the DSS/MZ3A.

Other that that, I haven't heard much about that unit. I am guessing it may be an older model, which has now been superseded. Whatever the case, I think the top 2 OEM looking options are those offered at caradvanced. At least CA isn't the producer, so there are other options such as buying direct from Alibaba.com or going through dabears2k.
