New MS3 owner

I don't know if I qualify, but I just put a deposit on a pearl white MS3 GT. I had to sell my big dodge hemi first. Funny enough it took a few months and I sold it, now Im so excited I posted before actully having the car in my hands!

I test drove this car once (dealer doesnt even allow that, but I got my wife a CX9 GT, so he let me ) and I was hooked. Was going to buy a black one, but my truck and every car before that was black....even our CX9 is brillant black, so I opted for the white pearl! once I get it, Ill sound off again...I feel like a giddy little school girl....is that a normal feeling for a father of 2 once he gets an MS3? I might have to go so a head shrinker.

thanks guys. I have been lurking for a while, never signed up with my own call sign as i didnt own one yet, but I would look since my wife has a mazda. good group of guys too. the cx-9 is no joke either....very glad to see mazda come such a long way over the last few years.

well, She is finally here. Picked her up on Sat. crystal white pearl. It was a great day, but a sad day as well. In the morning, before my 3 year old and I went to go pick up the MS3, we sold my Truck. My 1500 Dodge Ram HEMI was like the family dog! My daughter and I both cried when she drove away...but as soon as I felt that turbo kick in, it helped make the pain go away.

I have driven fast or powerful cars/trucks my whole life...when I was 19 I had a 5.0 Mustang all supped up (that was MANY years ago), today, I scared myself with the speed and power of this little pocket rocket while trying to over take a bunch of slow pokes. I think this is the start of a wonderfull relationship! hehe...

Id post a pic, but you all know what stock MS3s look like, so unless you all want to see it, Ill pass on posting.

BTW - Do you guys feel that shifting into 3d while driving agressivly sometimes aint all that smooth? I had this car since Sat (today is monday) and already have missed 3d gear 4 times....and I am NOT a newbie to shifting or racing for that matter. I usually hit the post between 3d and 5th....is this a common issue with the MS3? Or am I just getting old!?
