Hey all,
I'm a 1st time car owner, and 1st time Mazda owner. I got a 09 Mazda3 iTouringValue in Metropolitan Mica Gray. I got this car back in November 08 as I needed a car and barely started working so I was real picky. I tried the Corolla, Civic, and Lancer, but ultimately went for the 3 as it had the most bang for the buck. I couldn't be happier with my choice. My only regret is I took the 2.0L paired with 4-spd auto(I wanted fuel efficiency and auto trans for traffic at the time. should have went for the 2.3 with 5-spd ). I still enjoy driving this car so much, and now that I'm a permanent employee in my company, I'm motivated now to put some work on it to make it stand out. (once I get the money for it though
) I found this forum during one of my searches, and I think I can learn a lot here about what I could do to the 3. So far I only have the sharkfin antenna installed, and I'll have my windows tinted for summer next. Hopefully I'll be able to add to that list soon!
I started out looking for a commuter car that I would trade in for a better one once I get a stable job, but instead found myself a "project" car that I'll definitely be keeping even after the warranty expires. I'm officially a converted Mazdaholic!
