Next time I go back to see my family (5 hours away), I'll have to snap pictures of my other rides as well as the MS6.

I've got a 900SS/SP Ducati and a heavily-modified 1971 SS Nova. Fastest 1/4mile in the Nova was 8.09 @ 171mph. My 60-foot times were always pretty rotten with that car though.

Grats on the car. Nice to see another STL area speed 6. Which bommarito do you use? I bought mine from west county but have always had better service at the south county one.

I picked this one up from West County Bommarito. How are the South County service guys on mods? If I'm going to go with the Cobb SRI, then I'll want to find someone who is willing to overlook mods if I can. I hate taking that stuff on and off.

It turns out that I miscalculated my sales tax by.. well... double! So I ordered the Cobb SRI tonight!

i would def get the inlet pipe too just the intake sounds sloppy, and the inlet improves throttle response and adds another 10hp

The inlet is a nice touch, but get the intake on first and see how you like it. We're lucky that we've got some room to work in the engine bay, unlike the MS3 guys installing it.

I'm not quite sure I want to go after a new exhaust quite yet, but man this car sounds wimpy. I've listened to some of the audio clips online of the various exhausts available and wasn't impressed with any of them.

I was poking around looking for other alternatives. Unfortunately the two companies I've used in the past, Borla and Corsa, don't look like they have much (if anything) to offer for our cars. Any suggestions for a quiet at idle, yet really open exhaust that doesn't sound "ricey"?

First, look into a test pipe. SU, TurboXS, SLS, and Corksport make test pipes, which remove the second cat and are a breeze to install (get under the car and 4 bolts and you're done).

As for a cat back that sounds good, consider the Magnaflow. It's inexpensive compared to the other CBE options, and if you're not looking for a full TBE at this point, might be a good idea.

HD Racing Lip is a go!!! (Thanks to my girlfriend for helping with the double-sided tape.) Sorry about the ginormous pictures....

if you want to stimulate the economy, have a unique car, and probably have better sound than any exhaust out there, have your local shop make you a custom setup, stick with the magnaflow mufflers though.

Considering that I only have 18,000 miles on the car (75k mile warranty) and no garage to store extra exhaust in for warranty purposes, I'll probably just stick to factory exhaust for the time.

I will be looking at at least a test pipe now. They seem like a really cheap mod that yields pretty substantial gains. I probably won't go after a downpipe though. Instead of spending that kind of money, I'd rather have an AP I think.
