2003 Mazda6 S
Hey Everyone! just joined the forum to hopefully find some help with my '03 Mazda6 s....Only had her for five days or so and I've had the starter replaced (was going out), replaced the engine mount (two holes right through it), and installed new HID headlights. I have a feeling the driver's side axle might be broken or on its way out (there's a noticeable tap tap tap when you turn left) I also was wondering if anyone knows where I could find Daylight Running Light lamp replacements...the lamp and the bulbs I've searched everywhere and cant find any =( Any help is appreciated =) Thanks!

Heh, he was really welcoming you. :)

If you haven't, take a look at http://www.moccforums.com, there are a lot of SoCal people there, and there are a lot of local meets, although you're going to have to drive a good bit from Yucaipa to get to any of them. Your axle might be fine, that sounds more like a CV joint or bearing issue...I drove with a clicking CV joint for a couple of years in my MX-6, but it's best to get it looked into before it gets too bad. As for the lights, I'm not sure which ones are the DRL lights, but you should have information in your manual for the lamp types. All of them are available, they are pretty standard bulbs...wander down to your local auto parts store and ask them to help you out. They at least should be able to give you the numbers for the bulbs, and then you can look online. At the worst, you can head over to Riverside Mazda, they're pretty good and MOCC members get a discount.

its all good...I'm actually from Long Beach not Yucaipa? lol yeah thats what I've heard it might be too...I'm going tomorrow to hopefully get it fixed =) That is true about the manual I'll check it out. I got closer dealers than the one in Riverside too but I'm assuming its cause you think I live there hehe thats also a good plan will do thanks for your help ;)

When I looked I thought it said Yucaipa, but it looks like that was MAZDA_SPEED. Yes, Long Beach is closer in, there is a meet in Signal Hill each Wednesday (I think?) that you can find out about on MOCC. Go over to a meet and show them what you're talking about with the lights, odds are someone else there will have a 6 or MS6 and be able to help you out.

welcome! AH CRAP im too late to these haha.

very cool, long beach. maybe ill see you at some local meets sometime soon.
