New CRX for 2006!!!

hmmm, they are maybe just throwing some designs out there right now..I'd like to see a new CRX, and don't kid yourselves...it WOULD sell, unless they made it heavy..if they kept the lightwieght design that made it popular in yesteryear, it would sell again, and get modded to the tits...again

I personally loved the look of the first pic. The second pic shown looked identical to the stupid civic si thats out now.

A new CRX would have to be very cheap for me to pick one up as a toy. Honda will build it just because they know so many people will mod the piss out of it that they'll never have to do any warranty work on them!

The old '91 CRX si is one of my all time favs. If they brought it back I would love it, but chances are its not happening, and here's why. Honda is going to sell a tiny car here very soon (I believe its the "Fit" in Japan). It is going to have a tiny engine (like a 1.5 liter making around 100hp) just like the scion Xa/Xb, so ricers can pimp it out but it wont be fast. And I'm guessing that if they do make a hot rod version...it will not make it to the US just like all of Honda's best cars.

Word. The headlights on the crx are also off of a "1st gen" RSX. Doesnt make sense... P'shopped all the way

my first real car was a new 85 crx si, put over 250K miles before it got stolen, though my 03 es is probably a better all around car and enjoy driving it , i do miss my crx at times, there wasn't a parking spot to small for that car. I was severly disappionted in the Del sol as the replacement to the CRX. Honda shot them selves in the foot on that one.

i had a 90 crx si with like 90,000 on it. was on it's second motor but only cuz the first owner ran it without an oil change for like 15000 miles. second motor went in at like 50,000. and it was brand new when we put it in there. i sold it to my friend travis who still has it and is going to swap the motor for a b16a or b can't remember. i'm not sure how the engines fit but we want to throw in a gsr motor. will it fit? anyways, it's freshly painted nsx yellow and still runs PERFECTLY with the exception of the stock clutch which will be changed soon. just thought i would throw that in there

Yeah, any B16 / B18 will fit just fine in a CRX. You might have to use a few motor mounts from a B series motor, will need B series shift linkage, ecu and axles / half shafts.

the TSX is K24

and the Honda Fit/Jazz is most likely what we'll see here, maybe they'll bring a 2 door if we're really lucky, but 1.4 liters...aka S L O W
