New 2010 CX-9

All nice, except for the ugly new corporate face. Not anywhere near as fugly as the new Acuras, but a step in the wrong direction none the less.

I noticed the interior door handles look like metal. The plastic ones in my car have always seems chintzey to me. I wonder how hard it would be to swap them out and if they would fit my 08.

Yeah, they are chintzey. Definitely.

I still think the climate control UI is overly complicated, but I prefer the 2010 version to the one on my 2007. At least there are more dedicated knobs and/or buttons.

Also, I think the dedicated buttons for the 2nd row are a good idea.

I still Mazda could take some queues from the folks @ Audi for making a simple climate control console. And they should abandon all the chrome + wood and just use wood (or simulated wood grain) where possible along with flat black knobs.

Less is more IMO.

I'm curious why you think it's complicated. You press Auto and set the temp. Can't get much simpler than that.

The rear for 2010 is improved, providing full auto control, and independant air circulation if the front is off. The best front improvements are that the vent mode goes forward and backward now, and the seats have two levels of heat. The controls do look a little more upscale now, too.
