Trailblazer SS AWD ....Still a Mazda Junkie Though.
Well ,I just went to the track today and put down a 14.3@98MPH.
All I have installed at the moment is my Apex 2.5" D/P and My boost controller.
I beleive this is a good time for $400 worth of mods!I hope to break 13's very soon.Slicks are a must for the MSP!I think with slicks,I could have hit 13's today.
Traction was that bad.1st and 2nd were nothing but wheel spin!Best 60ft. I could pull was a 2.3.If I could get a 2.2 or lower ,I know I would break into the thirteens!
It did not matter how I launched, easy or hard, the tires still went up in smoke.
I just thought you guy's would like to hear about my times!
Lata,Matt:D

I am running about 11psi I beleive. It varies with the weather.I adjust it accordingly. When it is hot it will take more psi without hitting the "CUT".When it is cooler,I have to tweak it down a bit.

damn those are nice...i need to go to track , as soon as i get my 2.5 downpipe and voltage clamp, i will be set...wonder how much hp you are making.....

I don't know about my HP ,But just for reference,My best run stock(before these two mods) was a 15.2@90.That is almost a full second drop in ET's.I think this was the best mods I could have bought for $400 .

Voltage clamp? The link you gave was for the O2 signal clamp, that is for NA cars with a turbo kit. It will not prevent fuel cut in a turbo car. You need an FCD for that. I was told you can get the HKS FCD to work, or you can get the one from me at- www.joepmbc.com/mazdaspeed.htm - it is the top item. It was designed and used in my Mazdaspeed and it is the same as the unit I used when I ran 19-20 psi on race fuel with no fuel cut.

Very nice. I told you guys- once you add boost, a launch is not happening on the stock tires :).

My times were run when it was 80 degree + ambient air temp .When it started to cool, down I was running slower?
NO EXPLANATION ON THAT?
Matt:)

Wow ten whole hours have passed without someone calling you a liar liar pants on fire. Nice times, post your slips.

I'm with Kenetix, you would run awesome times times on some 15x9's with sticky rubber. You could also opt for some wide 16's and some sticky rubber too, that way you could still have an awesome look and keep some good performance. Of course, if you go with smaller wheels makes sure you get something light. Good times man, keep up the good work.

I would hope by now people realize how acheivable low 14's/high 13's and 200-230 WHP are with this car for fairly little work. There are too many hp and 1/4 mile posts by now- if people still call BS on a claim like this, they need to either get a life or get a clue :).
