hah, where did you find that. Another great day, had a pretty good turn out for the corral. We left before the end of the race, I think one of the Mazdas dropped out. One of the Vipers burst into flames next to us.
Marlon and Lauri, thanks again for everything, had a blast as usual. Mary enjoyed meeting you both, she's thinks your both very special people.
Packing up tomorrow and heading for Jacksonville and St Augustine.

Yeah, the 07 dropped out.. The 70 finished 30th overall, right behind the Spirit of Daytona team.
Yes, I saw that 70 finished 11th in class, not sure if that was last. I noticed the Delta Wing also dropped out.

Some Gran Turismo 6 league racing action. I've been promoted to Division 2 (of 8). We mix up the cars and tracks and everyone runs the same spec car. I usually qualify toward the front of the pack but there are some very fast drivers and its challenging to keep pace. We run a 10 minute race, then reverse the grid and repeat. I finished 2nd in the first race so I had to crawl my way to front this race. Luck was on my side as others spun off the track...but it goes to show how close to the limit we are racing the whole time.
A few drivers need to learn better race craft. I had to file an incident report on the driver that punted me into the red car. Drivers are docked points if they don't make clean passes.

Thanks! It's really fun...and cheap! Definitely gets my heart pumping at the start of these races. The league really promotes clean racing so I do my best to be aggressive but also not run into anyone. At one point in the video you can see a car cut right in front of me. I had to back off to avoid hitting him when he crossed my nose to grab the apex. I could have forced my nose in but I figured I would get another opportunity later. Lucky for me that driver spun out on the next lap!
