NEMOC Random BS Thread

Morning All. Autoxed yesterday, weather was perfect. Finally didn't sweat to death.

Oleg, looking forward to seeing the car.

morning all, bruce....how'd you do this yr in autox? i haven't gone once! hope to attend in oct!

Happy Monday NEMOC! Well after the holidays it appears what I thought was never going to happen is going to happen! My mother in law came to the wife and I Saturday and told us shes going to retire and move to Woburn where most of her family and friends are.... WOBURN??? LOL but its where shes comfortable. So with that being said, We are FINALLY going to take the house over. Only 5 years in the making!! But it will be good, each kid will have their own room, I will more than likely remodel the basement and have my MANTOWN finally!! I fell good about it! Finally going to own my own home! Will have to have a big bash in the spring with my MONE and NEMOC family! parking for 8 in the driveway and more at the culdesac which abuts the property! So looking forward to this!!

Car is doing good... No more mods tho, have to focus on money for the house.... But shes still fun to drive and look at! going to have Josh do a detail on it next month prep for winter!

Mornin' folks.

Yesterday started well, but ended poorly. Jess actually watched a race with me! I couldn't believe it. She was asking questions and everything.

Then I went upstairs to continue painting after the race was over, and I stepped on a piece of a baseboard heating register. A few stitches and several hours in the ER later, the day was shot.

Afternoon Everyone.

New to the site, not to Mazda. I probably know a few of you on here. I've got an '04 Mazda 6S and I've only done a few aesthetic mods to it, but I love being a part of the community. It's nice seeing that NEMOC is active on a daily basis.

I wanted to let ya'll know about an extended invite for the Great Mazda Climb. Originally thought to be just for 6's, we've decided it'll be a hell of a lot more fun if we get a HUGE group of Mazdas of all makes and models. All the information can be found on this thread.

Hope to hear from you!

- B.

Sonds good sir, thanks for filling the form out.

As for dates, basically it's any weekend from May onward. Mt. Washington's officials won't allow people on the mountain until the snow is almost completely gone, which obviously takes a while at that altitude.

Once we hit that 30 person mark I will begin preparations for the date and I will certainly keep everyone updated. It is safe to say that this will be a weekend event. We have a few members coming from as far as Niagara Falls and possibly Virginia, so they would be better suited with having a weekend.

We've also planned on having a Dusk trip. Although dawn offers better and more photo opportunities, a dusk trip will allow everyone to leave their houses that morning/day rather than the night before.

Signed up too for the climb, as mentioned before this would be a definite depending on the date and situation at the time since we can't foresee the future :)

Thanks guys, yeah Speed I just got home and saw your submission, thanks.

And that's why I added an "interest" category. If you're still not sure, just choose the first one. I'll see how many people are definitely going and we can plan accordingly.

Just a quick update about LRP corral ticket sales, 11 tickets sold to date. Hopefully we will have a big push in the next two weeks.

Thanks Mark, with the merger of Grand-Am and ALMS in 2014 I know that the powers that be are looking at attendance at the various events to determine what tracks are going to be left out of the mix.

Morning fellers.

Mark, thanks for signing up! We're getting close to the 30 people for the climb so we'll be setting a date soon hopefully.

At least one of the guys from 6club is showing up, don't know anyone else though. I've posted details in my meets thread so who knows who'll be there.

I'm taking a small break from meets otherwise I'd show up, looks fun.

Not as well as I hoped. The class I switched to is tougher than I thought and ditching the slicks slowed me down some. But still enjoying it. Last race this year is the 23rd.

Congrats Tony.

oh Yea, Happy Hump day.
