First week of work done. My commute is 7 minutes by bike and I'm way less stressed than I was at hubspot. And, I'm actually doing projects that 1- actually mean something and 2- challenge me.

So it's pouring rain here. Dog is going a little crazy, some of the campsites have good sized pools of water. Some people are packing up to go home.

Ash, I have a friend's bday party :/ So unlikely to make it.

OK, the transmission is back in tonight. However, getting it lined back up to the engine mounts is tricky, still in the middle of that, but decided to call it a night.

The rear engine mount is the single most evil thing I've had to work with yet on a Protege. Had to replace the rear mount--left it a bit loose, so that it could move around as needed. Of course, that means I'll have to tighten it

Need to go buy retaining ring pliers to finish the short shifter install. Hoping I can have the car be buttoned back up tomorrow or Tuesday night. Oh, and the 3rd shifter linkage's rivet won't come out, so have to take that to a shop and see if they can air-hammer it out for me.
