ya, so he's a vendor of mine and he shows up for a contract signing and we go out for dinner in his new volvo and he doesn't say anythign about the old silver p5....i'm assuiming he realized he could trade it and get something for it and thats what he did.

Good afternoon NEMOC friends.

Mahk, for that price you'd be silly to work on that mess yourself. I still haven't stripped mine down to see what it looks like. A 1/2 left in the lunch break...

*edit....checked it out and all things considered it doesn't look too bad seeing that I've got over 163K on her. The screws, well they don't look like screws but no obnoxious fumes. And if I find the mouse that was sleeping there I'm charging him for rent.

CTt3P5, you might want to give those bolts a good liquid penetrant spray right about now while you're in there. Just in case.

I could do that later but if I run into the same issues as Mahk and others I'll get some quotes and pay a shop to do it. If it comes back around what Mahk paid, I'll gladly let them do that work.

Just placed some orders for the Mazdaspeed6. No more warped rotors! I figure I might as well go all out and paint the calipers and install stainless brake lines. I'm at 92k so this will be the last brake job for a while.

What's up folks???

Back from Canada after a fun race weekend. Well... the race was boring as s***, as most ALMS races are. 5 classes of no more than 5 cars per class... may as well be an HPDE event.

The cool thing was getting to hang out with Bruce on his home turf, for the first time.

Awesome day with Marlon, Lauri, Phen and Tom. Pretty nice setup as well. Mazda Canada went all out, big difference from Watkins Glen lol.

Nice car Cheo. Love the looks of the 1 coupe. But why the auto??

Autoxed last Sunday and on the first run hit a cone sideways and lost the passenger side rocker. Scratched it a bit. Rocker is ok, not broken, but a lot of clips broke or fell off. A guy at the autox offered to buff out the scratches once I got it back on. Oh well. Another autox on Sunday.

Oh yeah, happy hump day.
