Have not come in yet. Do not order from them. Forgestar buys the rims from some other company, renames them and paints them. Oh, and marks up the price ridiculously. If these weren't the only wheels I found that I really like since owning the car, I'd have cancelled my order. It's been over 2 months since I ordered.
Sorry if I sound bitter... It's going to be a love/hate relationship when I finally get them.
If you really like them though, talk to Rishie on the 8 club. He basically introduced Forgestars to the RX-8s (I think). There's also a thread dedicated to it. James' connection refuses to do any further business with Forgestar after this.

so i just put my fogs back to stock, taking out that little "always on" mod so it wont be independent and stay on with the car off after the auto on headlight mod
and now if i turn off the car the headlights stay on like normal but the fogs will turn off with the key out. hmmmm. so im not sure what mod to keep. id love to make it so that the fogs turn on and off with the ignition rather than the headlights doing so, but im not sure how to wire that business just yet

Installed new spark plugs last night in the MS6. Intercooler came right off but I couldn't get the hose off the BPV so I removed the whole thing instead and left it hanging. Not sure how long the whole job took because I was interrupted several times. Car starts up smoother now but otherwise feels the same. I went 67K on the original plugs and they didn't look too bad when they came out. The gap was still within spec.
It's a once a year open house event at F-40.
We should also plan to hit up Factory Five Racing for theirs, usually mid June. Bruce remembers. http://www.factoryfive.com/

Hello everyone...what a week. Been slammed here at work since coming back from the Holiday break. Looking forward to 1-3" or 4-6" of the white stuff tomorrow...all depends on how this strom tracks....
The open house is once a year (in May) but a classmate of mine turned me on to the cars and coffee, its usually the first Saturday of every month or so with some exception. I've yet to go to verify if it actually happens or where exactly but if you check the past event calendar on F40 motorsports they have it listed. I just don't think they let you play around with their multimillion dollar inventory on the non open house days.
Like I said, I like the forgestar's weight and look but if I drop 1000+ on anything I kind of need to love them and I'm not sure I do. The other issue I'm having is that I really like the super concave look of a lot of wheels but I don't want to run a staggered setup so I'm trying to figure out what I can run without having rubbing issues.
So I'm sitting here watching the Speed channel and they are installing a roll bar into a Miata. Apparently, it's their project car on the show "Stacey David's Gearz". They labeled it the Banshee Project.
