Umm....I think the 14/15th? Just dont have the time this week.....Been soo busy with the holidays, havent had time to do much, so I am thinking next week will work.....I will know by weds Bruce and will let you know.

Another 10 hours on the road today. Dropped my youngest in Montreal. I think I'm also getting a cold, sniff.
Happy New Year everyone! I have more free time on my hands now a days (not commuting 4hrs a day, 15 minutes again!) so I should be available on here more often.
Sorry I missed out on the New Year's dinner, I didn't know it was happening (as I hadn't been on here for a while) until Marc "checked in" on facebook. Oh well hopefully next time!

I was robbed (by my roommate it turns out) over Christmas weekend and through the later part of December. Recoverd over $2,000 worth of stuff at the pawn shop, cash, debit card use and a blank check was written out to CASH and cashed. It's been a dissaster.
It started in the middle of December when I noticed a few charges on my debit card for gas that were not mine. I still had the card so I went to my bank and cancelled the card and got a new one. He must have just copied the numbers and used it as a credit card at the pump. Then I started to notice some small amounts of cash missing from my wallet and I thought it was just me with the all holiday shopping.
Came home from Christmas at my folks to find my air compressor was missing from my garage and that the change jar in my closet was empty (it was almost full). I called the cops to file a report and my roommate told them he had friends over during the weekend and one of them must have done it. He would find out who.
Tuesday (last week) I noticed a withdrawl for a check that I didn't write, looked it up online and it wasn't my signature. Had to file a claim with my bank and close all my accounts. Left the bank and went searching for my air compressor in local pawn shops. Found the compressor and a bunch of other things in one of the shops. They verified the person that pawned it all (in CT you have to provide your license for the record). The bank also confirmed who cashed the check (CT Drivers License number when it was cashed).
Had to press changes and file for a warrant for his arrest. Change all the locks and had his parents move all his stuff out. In the mean time the bank is doing their own investingation and I am waiting for them to credit back the debit charges and the check.
