NEMOC Random BS Thread

I can't wait to get back out on mine. I've been sooo crazy busy with things that have come up with work and broken cars that I just look at them sitting in the basement.

I haven't really been on the road much...been doing mostly work at the shop on the trainer...def feeling it though, will be in much better shape at the start of this season. Might go on a ride this Sat.

Just sits in my basement collecting dust. I enjoy kayaking more.

kayaking! Ryan does a lot of that, we should all go...

OMG! Really James. Did you tell me that? I can not recall. Boy, for a first impression you went to the wrong place brotha. Trust me, there are some really nice "classy" places. But yea....most are fairly sleazy.

Yeah first time actually going inside one... like i said... they dont do anything for me so i never actually made it a point to go... classy or not

I had friends that were dancers, bouncers and bar maids... from outside of the club. Only real reason I went way back when.

HAHA reminds me of a story i have from college...

Had a female friend with the last name 'Hooker'

who was competitive in Demolition Derbies...

So all her friends wore a shirt that read "I support my local Hooker" to all her events

So as some of you know, my father in CT owns a red 1995 Dodge Stealth RT/TT. He told me it may have been a pace car at a local track, so through my contacts I reached out to Lime Rock and this is what he replied.

"Josh,

I would say that most likely that is the case. (re red 1995 Dodge Stealth R/T provenance)

It was in 1995 that the Skip Barber Racing School became sponsored by Dodge. That first year, Stealth R/Ts were used in the Skip Barber Driving School. Also at the time, Skip Barber the person owned both the track and the school (no longer the case, btw) and Dodge was also a track sponsor. So it's quite possible that the Stealth in question was used as a Lime Rock Park pace car.

My background: I was the pr and marketing guy for the Skip Barber Racing School from 1989 through 2008 and have fairly intimate knowledge of the school and the track. I now do similar work for Lime Rock Park.

Hope this helps…

Cheers,
Rick Roso
Lime Rock Park"

Sure is. You can see a very, very slight fade on the hood if you look at it in the right angle, where a large Dodge vinyl logo was placed.

Here are some photos I took a couple years back of the whole car.

You know, I really don't like strip clubs.

call me old fashioned, but I really don't want to pay $20 a pop for some strange syphilitic woman to smack me in the face with silicone enhanced scarred funbags.

I don't like the thought of going somewhere just to sit around with a bunch of other guys with hard-ons. That's kinda... gay.

I've been to one. The only reason I went was because I was drunk and had no choice to drive myself home. I was along for the ride. If I remember correctly, I fell asleep at the one table everyone was sitting at. I was definitely enthused.

I've been to one, once...Mardi Gras in Springfield. It was "meh". Definitely not what every kid/teen pictures in their heads when they first hear about those places.

You knew there's going to be naked women in there and that it's OK for you to stare at them. Kind of takes the fun out it...right?
