NEMOC Random BS Thread

Let me know when you're going to install it!! And how I could get those prices!!!!!!!!

Well I can't help you with the gift cards, I have a very nice family at christmas :)

Contractor prices come up once and a while and you just have to buy a certain amount of materials!

Install will probably be in May. April I am stuck every weekend putting in the landscaping (lawn, fence, rock garden, firepit, pavers) at my folks new house so they can get their C.O. from the town.

I'll let you know when I pick it up. I'm not sure on the whole details. I went there this weekend and them my mom was in there getting something for their house. The guys gave her the quote and thats what he gave her for pricing.

All this talk about April and May and landscaping....I'm craving Spring now.

In other news a cubicle opened up in my department and I as lucky enough to get to it first and claim it. I've been here for 2 years and haven't had a desk to work at (been using a conference room with a few other unlucky people). It's awesome because it's in the back corner where my bosses can't see me (2thumbs)

Congrats of moving up in the working world... Although I'm sure you spend more time in your car than the office...

I bet it's like Chris' desk (subspeed).... Until about a month ago, everyone could see my screen. I was able to move my desk in a different orientation. Now I have a direct line of sight to my boss but my back is to a wall.

Ugh, I hated cubicles. Especially having those with desks facing a wall and no windows around. No sense of openness. The last office I worked in was Warwick, RI at an old mill along the river. 20 foot high open ceilings with brick walls and huge windows. We had everything open except for CEO office and conference room. Cool creative firm to work for but got stressful at times. Then they moved to Providence and that's when I was commuting from Cape Cod. Glad that did not last long.

Rims!!!!

Wish I could guess, but my feeling have been hurt so much this week that I don't think I can take it any longer.

No, serisously I wish I could, but I have to take care of my pup and I have to go pick up my hardwood flooring at Lowes tonight. Gift Cards, plus contractors pricing/sale FTW!

What did you pay?

I'll know exactly tonight, but looks like .75" x 2.25" solid oak for $59.59 a bundle (20 s.f.)

If I did not have the GF I would go through lumber liquidator. Better prices than Home Depot and Lowes. I can get a professional discount there (the benefit of working for an architecture firm is that I can get a professional discount at most wholesale places).

Just found the matching Center caps for the ones I got from Bruce with the wheels. Was missing one, but I found a set of three for 30 on ebay. So I will have two spares. Found some Mazda Decals that look like they will fit the center cap. The gray on the center cap is a little scuffed up. So I thought the Mazda Logo on it would be cool!

Good afternoon.....so I'm debating picking up som 2010 MS3 wheels for Tamz new car. Found a helluva deal locally.

I plan on installing a temp guage too as the car did not come with one but searching for a pod. I showed her Ben's frost pod but she wasn't a fan. She'd rather have a vent pod so there is nothing sticking out of the dash.
