NEMOC Random BS Thread

ah ok.

i can meet you no prob, need to make a side trip to NH at some point as well. Are you still working at the same branch?

Yep, I'm still there. If its convenient for you to stop by there, that's fine by me. Just let me know when. I'll make sure to throw it in my hatch!

Sounds good. Do you plan on shooting up here after work? I'm there until 5pm daily. I am not there Wednesday mornings though. I start my day out at our Pease office with meetings.

Good morning Gang.
Did anyone saw the inserts for the transmission mount that corksport developed for the mazda3 and msp3. Is on this link http://www.corksport.com/corksport-mazda-3-motor-mount-insert.html.

Any comments?

Don't like to jump into something new for the car without the wisdom of the group.
It proved to be very very helpful(snow tires/wheels).

That is for the rear motor mount, a lot of people like them, and would recommend them before you go to a harder mount. That way if you don't like the extra vibrations of this mount then you know you won't want anything harder..

Down side to them is that people say they wear out after a while and become pretty soft.

Another thing to consider (and what I did) is to fill your stock mount with epoxy. I had a harder mount but it go old quickly. So instead of buying something else, you can fill it with 2000psi epoxy and it works great. It absorbs all those idle vibrations but it doesnt have the slop the stock mount has.

No, I have class until 10 so I figured I'd head up there around then. What time are you in Exeter on Weds?

So, with lots of pending repairs and maintenance looming, and its reliably unreliable history, Amanda decided she had enough with the Jeep Wrangler...and bought a 2008 Dodge Nitro with 19K on the ticker.

It's an auto-tragic but it's the R/T model with 260HP and all the bells and whistles (nav, backup assistance, remote start, 20" chrome rims, etc etc). My butt dyno approves. It handles and drives like a truck on side roads but is very composed and quick on the highway. Listed price was 25K. We got it for 22K plus 5K for the trade-in. We probably could have gotten 6-7K if we sold the wrangler private party but it wasn't worth the hassle, especially since it's off-season for them.

Yes in Mendon. They had two identical ones. We picked the cheaper of the two but the paint is in better condition, fewer scratches around the door handles.
