NEMOC Random BS Thread

oh, so back in may, just before LRP weekend, i have this off and on semi overheating issue...so to be safe i swap out the thermostat and that seems to do the trick...highest temp was around 211ish. so a few weeks back on the way home from bourne i look down at the scan guage (needle on the dash is below 1/2) and i see 220..221..222. so i get home and sure enough the fluid is low? looks like the overflow bottle is leaking (again) so i fix things up add fluid and then monday night i'm riding home in some good hot weather and the needle is going up, scan guage is like 225...230 wow! get home, fluids low again...swap out the pressure cap with my stock one, install a new overflow bottle, and all is well! cap must have worn out and was allowing fluid to escape (then drain out) when it should have been keeping pressure....highest temp yesterday (with the ac on) 204!!(alright)

I went for like a 5 mile ride then came home and took a 2 hour nap haha! Nothing to do till 4 tonight when I go to work.

I was gonna run this morning but decided against it. I stopped at Dunkin Donuts for a coolata instead. Now I'll have to run tomorrow to make up for it.

Nice. I still have yet to take the bike out. While pumping the tire up, I sheared the presta valve off at the rim.

Went o a Jason Mraz(sp) concert last night at the BOA Pavillion. Never been there for a concert. Enjoyed it alot. My wife and daughter came. Was funny to watch them both dancing and carrying on.

Phen, I don't think the bike likes you. You should just drop it off here :)

And I'd get Dunks but mysteriously my bank account is null...stupid gas stations and their charge holds...

Finished the DIY tow plate, well still going to paint it black and probably round the corners a bit, but its on for now.

when i did mine i used the stock tow hitch. clipped the ring off. tapped the cylinder. took a thick contractors ruler and painted it black then drilled a few holes through it. and bam....diy tow plate. i cant see paying 80 bills for that.

Sorry, been crazy busy lately.

Yeah its the SS with the RS package I believe its called. Black exterior with black/orange interior. Car is crazy fast and big. I love the car, very comfortable surprisingly so. Power is there but steering feel is heavy, not much driver feed back according to my father. I have yet to full test it out on some twisties/highway been driving around town mainly.

Overall I love the car. It is big and wide though which took me off guard and you really could not tell in the transformers movies and in pictures.

I will take pics one of these days.

Did basically the same thing, but was first trying to make a different connection rod other than the tow hook. I couldn't find the right hardware to make it look and work right so I finally just cut the tow hook yesterday and tapped it. I made the plate just from a thick steel sheet.

Once Zim gets back from his vacation, he should be running one too.

i think i might be changing mine pretty soon to a flip under. i want to get 2 small sliders from like an old drawer, put a hinge at the end by the plate and spring to keep it loaded up. then when i go places for show or whatever i can slide it back under the bumper. ill let you know how that goes. im usually horrible with keeping to my word on things like this. lol. i want to do it though.
